Having nothing else to do at the end of a week of midterms, I decided to lounge around and watch some favorite anime DVDs - an admittedly strange combination of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Outlaw Star, and Azumanga Daioh. I noticed that when watching the opening credits, the subtitles don't always translate the lyrics to the opening song. Every other episode it seems, the subtitles give me the English translation. When it doesn't I get the romantized native Japanese lyrics (in the GiTS it gets even stranger, as the opening song 'Rise' is in Russian...). I guess my question is, why? What does an airplane nerd do for his spring break? He visits an aviation museum of course! I'm not much of a photographer, but I've posted my awkward attempts regardless. Spring has never been much of a building time for me, as none of my regular 'clients' have any concrete ideas what they want me to make - not that I have the money to buy raw materials anyway. Here's to hoping that changes very soon!

Looks like I completely forgot about this little dA account I set up... I've resolved to change that! Among other things that have happened since I opened this account, I finally have a digital camera of my own, meaning I can finally get pictures of my projects. Not that anyone is reading this, but let this be for posterity!
